The Midwest Google Apps Summit is a high intensity two day, hands on conference that focuses on integrating Google Apps for Education in K-12 and Higher Ed learning environments.  All presentations will be Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators and local Googley talent.

In the past, in order to do any decent image editing, you needed to spend hundreds of dollars on software. Not any more. Today we can use free web-based tools (some provided by Google) to do anything from simple effects to advanced layering and masking. This session will include basics of Google Drawing, image editing, and a discussion of the ways that teachers and students can use these tools to impact learning.
