The Midwest Google Apps Summit is a high intensity two day, hands on conference that focuses on integrating Google Apps for Education in K-12 and Higher Ed learning environments.  All presentations will be Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators and local Googley talent.

Overview of the new Gmail and it's new auto filtering and the settings panel. Learn how to create your own filters and labels to quickly organize your inbox, your way. Use Google's powerful search to find what you are looking for even if it's not an Email! Make your inbox truly yours by customizing it's look and setup.

Go further by leveraging the power of Google's Gmail Labs to add to the power and versatility of Gmail. Go even further, and learn how to use Gmail to create a Mission Impossible style quiz or scavenger hunt that will actually get your students excited about taking it and allow them to work at their pace. The Mission Impossible Quiz allows you to be more creative that you ever thought possible in making a quiz or scavenger hunt for your students. One more thing, you don't have to grade it!

If there is time left over, we will explore the mobile app for Gmail on Android and iOS.
